The Cherating Committees having a discussion with Mr Steven (the Resort Manager) on matters pertaining to the facilities and the event.

Mr Steven then took them around to view the chalet area and all the available facilities.

The committees is also working on identifying the suitable stop-over places.

At the beginning of the journey the 1st Stop Place is at R&R Temerloh, which is about 2 hours from KL.

The 2nd Stop Place will be at the Kuantan R&R Kg Pandan2, about 1.5 hrs later.

On coming back, the 1st Stop Place will be at R&R Temerloh, just after the Temerloh river. It takes about 2.5 hours from Kuantan.

The coming back home convoy journey  will be facing the afternoon sun, so everyone is advised to bring a proper protective transparent sun shade to protect the front passenger seat especially for those with small kids.

The Cherating Committee members have made an effort to make a pre-visit to Cherating to ensure that the coming event will run smoothly. They have visited both Cherating Palm Resort and Nazira Beach Resort to choose the best and most suitable for the event.

The committees has finally agreed to choose Nazira Beach Resort which is more suitable. It has ample spaces for parking, running the activities, spacious chalet area and well organised lobby and karaoke stage with DJ.  They have a proper facilities for the activities, such as volleyball, netball and  equipments  for telematch.

As 90% of the chalet will be occupied by the Peugeot Club on 30th and 31st August 03, priority will be given to the club for the usage of the facilities and the surrounding areas.

Above are the terrace chalets which is fully furnished with air-conditioning, TV, hot-shower and a queen size bed. Other facilities such as swimming pool and surau are also provided.

"Killing two birds with one stone" Since,  the committees decided to stay overnight, they manage to organise a TT Session for Kuantan and Kemaman members.  Raman (Kemaman), Din_ktn and Mazan (Kuantan) turned up to initiate the Kuantan TT session. 

During the discussion, the committees brought up the idea about participating in the parade for the Kuantan Merdeka Celebration on the 31st August 03. Din_ktn and Mazan will have to highlight this matter to the local authorities in charged and the committees will do the official follow up with the contact person.

There are so many Peugeot car owners in Kuantan, perhaps more than 50. The club shall have another active state once a sub-committee is formed here.

To spark the initial interest of all the Kuantan Peugeot owners, Club will be offering them to join the BBQ nite at Cherating with a minimum contribution of RM25.00 per person. If the club is invited for the Kuantan Merdeka Parade, those who joined and attended the BBQ nite shall automatically be invited to join the convoy for the parade. Pamphlets shall be distributed to all Peugeot car owners in Kuantan to promote this.
